Adult Dog Food

A complete dry food for adult dogs, meaning it has everything they need without a supplement on the side.

Meat is the first ingredient rather than a cereal, which is the single thing worth checking on any bag you pick up. No artificial colouring — the dye in cheaper food is there for the human buying it, not the dog eating it.

Chicken and rice suits most dogs and is the easiest on a sensitive stomach. Lamb is the one to try if your dog has been itchy or has reacted to chicken before. The vegetarian option is a genuine complete food, not a compromise, for households that do not keep meat.

If you are switching from another brand, mix it in over about a week rather than changing overnight. Sudden switches upset stomachs and then people blame the new food.
